About the library
The Astronomy Library is on the second floor of the Department of Astronomy, and specialises in books and journals about astronomy and space research. There is comfortable seating near the entrance where we have collected course textbooks, works of popular science, and books on topics of broad public interest.
There are several study spaces, some study spaces for group work, and access to copiers, scanners, and computer terminals. The library help desk is usually staffed Monday–Friday 09:00–15:00, and you can borrow and return books using the self-service terminal when library staff are not available.
