Any additional costs for pages and colour images are not covered and must therefore be paid for by the individual researcher.

Open access: copyright and licences
There are different levels of open access, which determine what end users can do with the publication. The basic level means it can be read online free of charge. Conditions for copying, sharing, and reuse are often specified in a Creative Commons licence (CC licence).

Journals and publishers often have their own conditions regarding copyright and parallel publishing. Use the Sherpa Romeo database to find out what applies for different journals or check the website of the journal or publisher. The Library of Science can assist you if you are uncertain about which conditions apply.
Secure and stable identification using ORCID, DOI, ISBN, and ISSN
Persistent identifiers (PID) are used as a secure and stable way to identify individual researchers and their research output.
ORCID
ORCID is the international register of researchers. You also need an ORCID in order to create an account in Prisma, the joint application and case management system for Forte, Formas and the Swedish Research Council.
You can link your ORCID to your profile in the Lund University research database LUCRIS and in this way keep your ORCID updated through a dynamic flow from LUCRIS to your ORCID.

DOI (Digital Object Identifier)
DOI is an international standard for identification numbers for digital material such as research articles and datasets. The International DOI Foundation (IDF) is the organisation that governs the DOI system.
ISBN (International Standard Book Number)
ISBN is an international standard for identifying books, among other things.
ISSN (International Standard Serial Number)
