Paying with a prepaid card

If you do not have a credit or debit card that can be registered in the PaperCut portal, you can buy a prepaid card instead. It will be a little more expensive and unfortunately we cannot refund any unused balance on a prepaid card.

Copying and scanning

To log into a printer, touch your LU Card to the card reader attached to the printer or manually enter your username and password. Then select either ‘Copy’ or ‘Scan and send’. If you want to send the scan to your student email address select the ‘Send to me’ option.

Visitors to the Library of Science who are not students or staff can still print, copy, and scan. To do so you will first need a library card for external borrowers and a walk-in-user account for library users. The circulation desk in any branch of the Library of Science can help you, or use the online guide below.
