Writing tutorials

If you want to improve your writing skills the Library of Science can help. You can book a writing tutorial with a language teacher, or why not sign up for one of our lectures and workshops.

Book a writing tutorial

Do you need help getting started with a written assignment, finding your academic style, or pulling a text together? Book a 45-minute tutorial with a language teacher. You can get advice on written work of all sorts. If you are writing as a group, you can all attend the same tutorial.

The writing tutorials exist to equip you to work on your texts independently and so become a better writer. Copy-editing and proofreading is not on offer. Allow enough time to revise your text after the tutorial; it is worth booking early in the writing process.

Writing tutorials are offered in conjunction with the library at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH).
